The LST-4002 Shimokita JMSDF Japan Maritime Self Defence Force JDS JMSDF Defence Ship produced by Tamiya in 1/700 scale assembly kit, is classified in Scale Models - Military Series - Navy - Aircraft Carrier

The "Ohsumi" class multipurpose transportation vessels of this JMSDF (Japanese Maritime self defense purposes Force) are great both in loading capability and maneuverability.

Concerning the JMSDF Defense SHip LST-4002 Shimokita Tamiya's launch of the "Ohsumi" kit many years ago was enthusiastically gotten by fans of Waterline Series. Another Japanese defense ship to be released for the reason that series could be the "LST-4002 Shimokita". This ship ended up being designed with the longest hull of the many ships in the JMSDF and first left the docks on Nov. 29, 2000. Its massive hull homes room for 2 "LCAC" hovercraft transportation vessels. To enlarge the armored deck of "Shimokita", it had been constructed to flare away within the hull. Tamiya's 1/700 rendition for the Shimokita features elevator, well-dock, central gate of detail by detail design. Inside the well dock rests two intricately recreated LCAC vessels. Armored flight deck and car deck incorporate clear parts, allowing for observation regarding the inside despite completion. This kit is laden up with aircraft and cars including: two CH-47 helicopters, two SH- 60J fire-patrol helicopters, tanks, small military cars, large vehicles, anti-aircraft automobiles, self-propelled firearms, over 50 mini cars! A tiny missile launcher is even included. Modeling this kit at two kinds of waterlines is also possible. Kit includes decals for ship "4002". Length: 254mm, width: 37mm.
