The classic Tamiya Hornet joins the X-SA show, a youth dream for most very early R/C fans and still a very popular model today.

Kits are a huge section of what we do at Tamiya, but we also recognize that some individuals might not have enough time or confidence the construction of an R/C model – for this reason we have produce the X-SA (Expert-Semi-Assembled) group of models. Each item features a fully-assembled and setup chassis with our TEU-105BK ESC (electronic rate control) included, plus a totally painted human body using the marking stickers currently used. All you have to do is give you the R/C equipment and battery pack, do the installation, and you’re prepared to drive.

• 1/10 scale finished R/C model. Length: 400mm, width: 230mm, height: 150mm. Wheelbase: 251mm.
• Finished polycarbonate body and wing are pre-painted in black, and have the iconic Hornet livery stickers applied.
• The chassis comes ready-assembled.
• separate swing axle front suspension system uses friction dampers, while rolling rigid axle back suspension system is fitted with oil filled dampers.
• Sealed rear gearbox protects diff gear during off-road running.
• Requires separately offered: 2-channel radio, steering servo, and 7.2volt battery pack and compatible charger.
