The Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 MB Motorsport Race Truck TT-01E produced by Tamiya in 1/14 scale Racing Truck series AWD drivetrain assembly kit, is classified in R/C Models - On-Road - Racing Trucks

This model recreates the Mercedes Actros as raced by the Tankpool24 team into the 2019 ETRC (European Truck rushing Championship). This type of recreation depicts the truck that carried the team to 4th place on the season, with veteran Hungarian motorist Norbert Kiss 6th general into the drivers’ standings. The realistic human body is a 3-piece set made from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with individually molded plastic side mirrors, coupler and back bumper components. The TT-01 Type-E chassis is a proven performer, which chassis is fitted with committed semi-truck wheels and tires for the model.

TT-01 E Chassis
The bathtub framework of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its engine and battery pack near the ground for reduced center of gravity and optimum stability. Attached to the bath tub frame is a fiberglass strengthened nylon top deck and gear covers improving rigidity, and a 3-piece tie rod supplying a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system system, and front side and rear differential gears all bond to create excellent operating capability. 70mm-diameter radial tires are combined with tires developed just for this model; the high sidewalls make for forgiving turns.
