Compact cooling fan for ARRMA 6S setups
This aluminum cooling fan assembly is designed as an RC-scale accessory for ARRMA 6S platforms, intended to support sustained runs by channeling airflow through the motor heatsink. The rotor housing uses 6061-T6 aluminum while the fan cover is made from 7075-T6 aluminum for a balance of light weight and rigidity.
Compatibility is specific: the fan mounts to the ARRMA Motor Heatsink V2: 4074 (ARA390304). Follow the heatsink manufacturer's mounting points and align the fan so it blows directly across the heatsink fins for the most consistent thermal transfer.
Key operational notes from the factory data: the fan measures 35x10mm, is rated near 20000 rpm with a tolerance of ±20%, uses dual ball bearings, nominal voltage 8.4V and typical current draw about 0.5A. Do not exceed 9V as overvoltage can damage the motor. The fan can be powered from the receiver box if a suitable output and capacity are available on your system.
Installation and service tips: the unit ships pre-assembled but use a medium-strength threadlocker on mounting hardware to prevent screw loosening under vibration. Verify clearance around the fan for wires and moving suspension components, and route the adapter cable away from hot components to avoid insulation damage.
The package includes the fan assembly and mounting hardware ready for installation, plus an adapter cable to connect into your receiver or auxiliary output. Keep the included M3 nuts and grade 12.9 screws secure and check them periodically after initial runs.
