This is an RC-scale brass outer portal drive housing produced for AXIAL Capra 1.9 Unlimited platforms, intended to increase unsprung mass at each wheel and alter crawling behaviour. The component is suitable for use on either front or rear portal housings where wheel inner diameter and mounting clearances match the part.
Made from brass to add 64g per wheel, the unit raises contact force on low-speed obstacles and helps the vehicle recover from tuck-in situations by increasing traction and low-speed stability. The outer diameter measures 43mm, so installation requires wheels with an inner diameter larger than 43mm.
The design is a direct aftermarket replacement housing meant for hobby-grade rock crawlers and trail rigs; it does not include gears or bearings and must be fitted using the supplied cap head screws. Check fitment and clearances before final installation.
