Wheel hex adapters for RR10 Bomber

These aluminium wheel hex adapters are made to widen track width on AXIAL Racing RR10 Bomber scale vehicles, providing a 23mm total hex assembly width to increase lateral stability on technical terrain. They are intended for RC-scale use only and designed to work with 4mm threaded wheel shafts and wheels that accept a 5mm center hole.

Mechanical retention is handled by a Delrin collar inserted inside the hex, paired with an O-ring on one side and a spring steel retaining ring, a compression spring with washers, and a stainless steel screw on the opposite side. These elements combine to hold the hex secure under low-speed, high-traction crawling conditions so wheels and tires remain indexed and do not rotate freely on the hub.

Installation notes: fit the hex onto the 4mm threaded shaft, verify the Delrin collar seats correctly, compress the spring and secure the stainless screw until the assembly has no axial play while allowing the wheel to rotate freely on bearings. Check wheel centring after a short test run and re-torque the screw if needed.
