Wheel hex adapters for SCX10 II

This pair of aluminium wheel hex adapters is an RC-scale accessory designed to widen wheel offset on AXIAL Racing SCX10 II platforms. Each adapter set provides a 27mm total width to push wheels outward, increasing track width and improving lateral stability on technical crawling and trail sections.

Construction combines a machined aluminium hex body with a Delrin collar to locate the wheel, an O-ring on one side and a spring steel ring plus washers on the other to maintain preload and keep the wheel from slipping on the shaft. A stainless steel cap head screw secures the assembly to 4mm threaded wheel shafts, and the central 4mm bore accepts wheels with a 4mm mounting hole.

Installation is straightforward: fit the adapter onto a compatible 4mm threaded wheel shaft, seat the Delrin collar, apply the O-ring and spring ring stack as shown in the part orientation, then tighten the stainless steel screw to secure the wheel. Confirm clearance with suspension travel and steering link geometry after widening, and check wheel balance and bearing alignment as part of setup.
