Aluminium hex adapters for SCX10 II

This pair of aluminium wheel hex adapters increases wheel track by 23mm to improve lateral stability on rockcrawling and technical trails. Designed for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II setups, the adapters accept wheels with a 5mm mounting hole while securing to 4mm threaded wheel shafts.

One side of each hex includes an O-ring seating to keep the assembly snug, the other side uses a spring steel ring plus a spring with washers and a stainless steel screw to clamp the unit in place. A Delrin collar is inserted inside the hex to locate and lock the adapter so wheels and tyres do not rotate independently under traction loads.

In tuning the SCX10 II, these adapters are intended to widen stance without altering axle geometry, offering a simple mechanical solution for improved roll resistance and tyre contact during slow, high-traction crawling sections.
