This aftermarket adjustable main shaft is an RC-scale replacement part designed for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II platforms. It combines an aluminum alloy shaft body with a hardened steel #45 universal cross head to balance reduced weight and joint durability, and it is intended for use in crawling and drivetrain tuning on scale rigs.
The cross head uses a universal swing shaft design to increase steering articulation and crawling angles without modifying the chassis layout. The aluminum 6061-T6 shaft body lowers rotating mass, while the hardened steel cross head maintains a secure coupling under slow-speed loads. A pin-locked head prevents the cross from backing out during steep climbs and descents, and white silicone O-rings are included to cushion contact between head and shaft body.
Adjustable axle length ranges provided by the assembly allow fitment fine-tuning: front adjustable span 115–125mm and rear adjustable span 130–140mm as measured between relevant mounting points. The kit includes screw shafts and silicone O-rings to secure the assembly; verify measurements against your SCX10 II hubs and linkage before installation.
Use this shaft to refine axle geometry and steering articulation on AXIAL SCX10 II crawlers; confirm fitment dimensions before assembly and inspect pin-lock and O-ring seating after initial runs.
