This aluminium steering assembly rod is an aftermarket steering linkage produced for the Axial Racing Yeti platform and supplied by GPM as YT049. It is presented as a single replacement rod intended for RC-scale steering link duties, offering a stiffer metal alternative to many stock plastic rods.

Use this part to replace a worn or damaged steering rod or to reduce flex in the steering linkage for more consistent steering feedback. Installation typically follows removal of the stock rod and fitting of the aluminium unit to existing linkage endpoints, checking for correct ball/socket engagement and free travel through the suspension cycle.
