Aluminium steering post for Yeti XL

This aftermarket steering post is an RC-scale replacement part produced by GPM for the Axial Racing Yeti XL platform, supplied as a 1 pr set. It is machined from aluminium to provide a stiffer mounting point compared with common stock plastic posts while remaining sized for model-scale steering linkages.

The component fits into the Yeti XL steering assembly to serve as the pivot and mounting point for the servo linkages and drag link. In workshop work it is treated as a direct drop-in upgrade where mounting holes and bearing interfaces match the AX31035 stock locations, allowing retention of the original linkage geometry and steering stops.

For tuning, this aluminium post reduces flex at the steering pivot and can improve steering consistency on rocky or high-load trail sections when combined with correctly indexed link lengths and wheel alignment. When installing, check fastener torque and steering endplay, and confirm compatibility with wheel hubs and bump steer settings before field use.
