Steel transmission gears for Yeti XL

This set provides three steel transmission gears intended for Axial Racing Yeti XL scale drivetrains. The parts are produced as RC-scale replacement/upgraded drivetrain components, intended to replace worn or damaged transmission gears in Yeti XL models while maintaining standard gear alignment and mesh.

Installation is performed at the gearbox level and typically requires disassembly of the Yeti XL transmission, inspection of bearings and spacers, and reassembly with correct torque on retention hardware. These gears are a straightforward swap when matching the original gear positions and do not require chassis modification.

In a tuning context these steel gears are chosen where increased wear resistance is preferred over lighter weight alternatives; they are suited to regular maintenance cycles and durable repair work rather than altering gear ratios or motor characteristics.

ordered some transmission gears for my yeti XL got here faster then the transmission case i ordered from ebay was a pleasurable experience will order from GPM again
They are intended for use in Axial Racing Yeti XL transmissions as replacement gears, matching the original gear positions without chassis modification.
Basic gearbox disassembly tools are needed, such as hex drivers, and a clean workspace to inspect bearings and spacers; follow standard gearbox reassembly practices to set gear mesh correctly.
Steel generally offers greater wear resistance than softer stock materials, making it suitable for longevity and repair use, though it is heavier and may transmit more load to bearings.
Check bearing condition and clearances during reassembly, verify proper gear mesh under load, and inspect periodically for wear signs as part of routine drivetrain maintenance.
