Aluminum hex adapters for SCX10 II/UMG10

This is an RC-scale hex adapter set designed to link wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 platforms. The set uses 6061 T6 aluminum and is intended for hobby-scale use where a firmer wheel-to-axle interface is required compared with typical plastic hexes.

Functionally these adapters mount on the axle and locate the wheel, using included steel pins and cap head screws for retention. The set provides a flat-style hex for the front and a raised hex for the rear to match common axle and hub clearances on SCX10 II-based builds. Use the parts to replace worn or stripped plastic hexes or when a stiffer connection is preferred for crawling or trail setups.

Installation notes: remove the wheel and old hex, slide the aluminum hex onto the axle, align the retention hole, and secure with the supplied steel pin and cap head screw. A snug fit is expected; check wheel runout after installation. No modifications to motor, ESC, or full-size vehicle components are implied or required.

Practical tuning role: swapping to aluminum hex adapters can reduce flex at the hub, which may change wheel feedback during low-speed crawling and affect wheel centring under load. Use them alongside appropriate wheel offsets and suspension setup to achieve the desired handling on the model.
