This is a scale RC center CVD drive shaft designed for AXIAL SCX10 III Jeep CJ-7 builds, offered as an aftermarket replacement by GPM. The part combines 4140 carbon steel components with 6061-T6 alloy to balance strength and weight for model-scale drivetrain use.

The CVD rotary layout reduces driveline backlash and minimizes power loss compared with simple dogbone setups, producing a more direct transfer of motor torque to the axles on RC crawlers and trail rigs. Measured lengths provided by the source indicate a folded length of about 92mm and an extended length of about 106mm, and the shaft is specified for 5mm output shafts, replacing factory part AXI-2063+AXIC1148.

A flexible rubber dust cover is fitted over the joint areas to limit sand and grit ingress, lowering internal wear and easing routine maintenance on off-road runs. The component is intended solely for RC-scale applications and not for any real-vehicle use.
