Pendulum wheel knuckle and hex adapter
This GPM SCX023 kit is an RC-scale pendulum wheel knuckle assembly and 21mm hex adapter engineered for Axial SCX10 platforms and select Gmade models. The assembly uses a bearing-centered pendulum with a Delrin collar, and a tapered weight profile that concentrates mass low in the wheel envelope to help keep the chassis grounded while crawling at increased wheel angles.
The kit increases individual wheel mass to improve traction and stability when negotiating low-angle obstacles or when a wheel is working inside a depression. The pendulum is narrower at the top and wider at the bottom so the added mass stays downward as the wheel rotates through suspension travel and steering angles, preserving a lower center of gravity for better ground contact.
Design and fit notes: the 21mm hex increases the hub flange width compared with many stock hexes, and the pendulum uses a bearing plus Delrin sleeve to maintain smooth rotation of the weight relative to the wheel. The manufacturer lists the combined single pendulum plus hex weight as 54 grams, and the hex is specified as 21mm wide.
Required wheel and mounting constraints: this part is intended for wheels with an inner diameter of 45mm and requires a 5mm thread hole in the wheel for proper fastening. Confirm wheel inner diameter and thread size before installation.
