This is an RC-scale aluminum main gear cover designed for AXIAL SCX24 Deadbolt platforms, supplied as a 3pcs set by GPM SCX24038GC. The part replaces the stock plastic cover to provide a firmer barrier against impacts and a conductive path for dissipating heat away from the motor area.

Construction and fit: the cover is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for a balance of light weight and tensile strength, and ships with stainless steel cap head screws to secure it to the gearbox housing. Included items from the source are one gear cover and two stainless steel cap head screws 1.4×5, which are intended for the mounting points shown on SCX24 Deadbolt housings.
