Front and rear gearbox protector

This GPM aftermarket mount set is a stainless steel bottom protector designed for the AXIAL SCX24 Deadbolt scale crawler. The kit provides dedicated coverage for the lower faces of the front and rear gearbox housings to reduce intrusion of sand and small rocks and to absorb light impacts encountered during trail runs.

The hardware set includes the protector plates and the fasteners required for installation so no additional parts are needed: Gear Box Protector - 2pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x4 - 4pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x10 - 4pcs, install mount - 2pcs. All metal parts are stainless steel for corrosion resistance when exposed to air and moisture.

Fit and function notes: the plates are intended to sit close to the gearbox bottom and mount to existing chassis points or supplied mounts. Installation uses the included screws; follow standard RC practice for thread engagement and torque to avoid over-tightening on plastic or composite housings. The added protection is primarily defensive: it helps prevent abrasion and rock contact to the gearbox underside with minimal change to vehicle geometry, making it suitable for trail and light-scale crawling situations.
