This is a scale RC drive axle upgrade set designed for AXIAL SCX30 models, produced by GPM. The kit uses 4140 medium carbon steel with a black hardened finish to balance strength and toughness for demanding rock crawling and trail use on 1/30 scale crawlers. The drive stubs widen each axle by 3mm, which increases track width for improved lateral stability, adds steering clearance and expands tyre fitment options.
Fitment note: the widened stub design is compatible with several SCX30 variants, but the SCX30 Ford Bronco has a low body profile that can interfere with the wider axles. For that chassis, combine these 3mm widened drive stubs with GPM's recommended SCX30/26FR 26mm shocks to raise ride height and avoid body interference.
Functionally this kit replaces the factory front and rear drive parts and includes brass spacers for alignment. The upgrade is intended to alter track width and driveline robustness rather than change suspension geometry or motor characteristics, so verify clearance and alignment before finalizing installation.
