These aluminum ball ends are an RC-scale replacement for the original rear link bar fittings on the 1/6 SCX6 JEEP JLU WRANGLER 4WD platform. Manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum, the parts are intended to increase durability where the original plastic ball ends can fail under trail use.
The design uses both clockwise and anticlockwise threads to allow length adjustment of the tie rods. Adjustment is performed by inserting a tool into the positioning hole on the tie rod and rotating to change the effective link length, allowing fine tuning of rear geometry and track stability.
In service these ball ends help the model track more smoothly by reducing play at the link joints and providing a firmer connection for suspension and steering inputs. They are supplied as an 8pcs set sized for the original rear link bar locations.
