SMT10 Adjustable Shock Mount

This aluminium adjustable shock mount is an aftermarket RC-scale part produced for AXIAL SMT10 builds and sold under the GPM MJ028 part number. Supplied as a 1pr set, it replaces the stock front and rear mounting points to give additional mounting positions for shock bodies and balls without changing the shock units themselves.

Use the mount to modify shock angle and leverage points during suspension setup; changing position alters effective damping and roll behaviour and helps find balance between traction and responsiveness. The aluminium construction provides firmer mounting compared with plastic stock parts and holds alignment under load.

Installation is direct in most SMT10 layouts that use the same mounting pattern, using the vehicle's existing hardware where applicable. After fitting, check that ball ends and shock shafts operate without binding across the full suspension travel and verify fasteners are secure before running.
