Made from graphite, the tower replaces the standard rear shock mounting plate to offer different flex and stiffness characteristics compared with typical plastic pieces. Its role is focused on suspension geometry consistency and allowing fine tuning of rear-end behaviour during setup.

Installation fits standard rear shock mounting positions on the T4-20 chassis and uses the chassis' existing mounting points. When replacing the stock tower, verify alignment of shock eyelets and confirm clearances with the body and suspension arms. Use the original hardware where provided, and confirm torque on hex screws to avoid over-tightening that could compress the graphite.

Tuning notes: graphite increases torsional stiffness relative to some plastics, which can shift rear traction and roll response. Expect subtler changes to rear grip and transient behaviour; adjust shock valving, spring rates, and anti-roll bar settings incrementally after fitting to dial in balance. For race setups, check for any binding through full suspension travel before running.
