Servo Horn for Standard Futaba Servos

This Futaba FUSHORN-D Type-D small-circle horn is a dedicated replacement accessory for standard Futaba servos supplied as a 4 pcs pack without screws. It is intended for model-scale work where the D6mm small-circle mounting matches the servo output spline and fastening method used on many Futaba-standard units.

Installation notes: centre the servo horn with the servo neutral position before fitting, align the small-circle hole over the servo spline or adaptor, and secure with an appropriate screw or fastener (not included). After fastening, cycle the servo through its travel and check for binding or irregular movement; re-centre if necessary.

Tuning role: changing horn length or profile alters mechanical advantage and throw. A compact, small-circle Type-D horn reduces lever arm for crisper response at the cost of mechanical leverage, while larger arms increase throw and torque. Use this part when matching horn geometry to steering, control surface, or actuator linkage requirements.
