GYA351 is a single-axis AVCS rate gyro exclusively for managing an aileron and is able to handle a dual-servo flaperon. This gyro works even while the air-brake has been operated.

AVCS or Angular Velocity Control System is equivalent to 'heading hold', except that it utilises a gyro sensor that's more accurate and less susceptible to vibration than main-stream gyros. It continually delivers control signals on servo, even when the axis isn't moving, for extremely low temperature drift and more good control for hovering and flying in crosswinds. On this gyro, you can switch AVCS on or off whenever assigned to an auxillary switch.
