The Futaba S5050 is a 1/4 scale digital servo intended for radio-controlled models that need higher torque for large control surfaces or heavy-linkage applications.

This unit is suitable for RC airplanes, 1/5 scale gas cars and power boats where a single high-torque servo can replace dual-servo arrangements on elevators or ailerons. Key mechanical features from the manufacturer include metal gears, dual ball bearings, a 5-pole motor and dust and water resistant construction.
