The Digital All Purpose Servo produced by Futaba, is classified in R/C Models - System - Servo - Standard Servos

This is the Futaba S9252 Digital tall Torque, All-Purpose F3C Servo
with High-Current Wire Lead and "J" Connector Pre-Installed.

This servo can create high-current draw from your own batteries.
If utilizing NiMH or Li-Po batteries, cause them to become capable
of delivering sufficient Amps.

QUALITIES: Digitally enhanced microprocessors cut about 1/2 the response time
from transmitter input to servo reaction.
Coreless motor
Dual ball bearings on the output shaft
Plastic/nylon gear train
Moderately high speed
High current, high ability cable lead with low resistance
Case is constructed of black plastic
Dust and water-resistant (maybe not waterproof)
is effective with all control areas on F3C helicopters or precision
fixed wing aircraft.
One year warranty

COMMENTARY: S9252 Digital Servo Precautions,
-It is better to prevent long leads and Y-harnesses particularly with
standard grade wires. If problems are experienced, consider using
heavy duty wire such as for instance Futaba's high quality Series or Hobbico's
Pro Series ,minimizing lead lengths, and/or getting rid of Y-harnesses.
-Current Drain: Futaba S9252 Servo is specifically made for high-
torque and high-speed, for that reason high current drain is
normal at startup. For ultimate performance when working with this servo,
please review these points.
(1) Always utilize a 4.8V NiCd battery. Dry cells are rated at 1.5V
each making the overall voltage 6.0V which will harm the gyro.
(2) When working with systems aided by the battery fail safe function it has
a greater cut-off voltage environment that will cause shorter
operation time.
(3) Whenever setting up the servo please check always pushrod linkage to make
sure there isn't any binding in order to prevent exorbitant power
consumption and reduce the life of engine and battery pack.
When Combined with GY501 Gyro:
Switch the GY501 servo framework price function (Frm) from "NOR" to
"tall" to display the performance of gyro on fullest.
Setting Method:
(1) Press the GY501 FUNC+ or - key to phone the Servo Frame Rate
Setup Screen.
(2) Press the DATA+ or - key to display "High".
This digital servo can not be combined with the following * AM *
transmitters because the servo basic signal is: 1310us).
CONQUEST have always been, FG Series (T4FG, T5FGK,T6FG, T6FGK, T7FGK), New Terra-
top, T3EGX, T3PGE, T2NL, T2LGX, T2FR, T2PK series.
**** Otherwise they'll work fine with present AM systems *****

A conclusion of coreless engines, a conventional servo engine has a
steel core armature covered with wire that spins inside the
magnets. In a coreless design, the armature makes use of a thin wire
mesh that forms a cup that spins across the not in the magnet
eliminating the heavy steel core. This design is a lot lighter
resulting in smoother operation and quicker response time
