Front & Rear Main Drive Shaft for R1

This is an adjustable front and rear main drive shaft set designed for the GMADE R1 Rock Buggy, supplied as a 2pcs set. The shaft assembly uses a combination of steel for hardware and 6061-T6 aluminium for the shaft body to balance strength and weight for RC-scale drivetrain use.

The aluminium shaft body reduces rotating mass compared with an all-steel design, which can help reduce battery draw in electric setups while keeping alignment accuracy in the driveline. Steel wire rings secure the retaining screws to prevent fastener loss during rough runs.

Length adjustment is built into the shafts to accommodate chassis spacing: front shaft adjusts from 122mm to 132mm, rear shaft adjusts from 105mm to 115mm. Included seals and screws allow the shafts to be fitted without sourcing additional small parts.

For installation, ensure the wire ring and M4 screws are seated and torqued to avoid axial play, and verify driveline alignment after fitting to prevent binding with the transmission output or axle cups.
