Adjustable tie rods for Bullet 3.0
This is an RC-scale front and rear adjustable tie rod set designed for HPI Bullet 3.0 MT and ST chassis, provided by GPM under model BMT160A/ST. The assembly combines spring steel bodies with alloy end fittings and 4mm anti cross-thread connections, supplied as a 6pcs set to cover both sides and front/rear positions.
Functionally these tie rods let you change steering geometry and toe settings by length adjustment, with two extendable ranges listed for fitment: 73–80mm and 78–85mm. Adjustment is achieved through the threaded alloy ends, which are designed to resist cross-threading on the 4mm connections.
Installation requires replacing the existing tie rod links on the model, securing the alloy ends to the steering knuckles and hub carriers as applicable, then fine-tuning length to achieve the desired toe or alignment. After adjustment, verify free movement across the suspension travel and confirm there is no binding at full lock to protect steering components and avoid binding in the suspension system.
In tuning use, these components are intended to provide a stable, serviceable connection for steering inputs and minor suspension setup changes; they are not a change to core servo, ESC, motor, or gearbox components but a hop-up for linkage geometry.
