MH-53J Stallion Pave Low III

The MH-53 is a unique version of the CH-53 water Stallion which will be employed for support missions of this “Special Forces”. This big helicopter is equipped with some sophisticated all-weather and evening satnav systems, which permit the chopper to elusively run behind enemy lines to recoup shot-down pilots or accompany commando units into enemy territory. During the Gulf conflict of 1991, these helicopters effectively completed missions in Iraqi territory, notwithstanding desperate situations and intense defence efforts by the enemy
