Alenia’s C-27J Spartan could be the brand new fine implemented and updated variation regarding the predecessor tactical transportation G 222. Two new and powerful turboprop Rolls-Royce AE2100-D2 have the capability to create the Spartan to exceed a rate of 600 km/H. It could transport as much as 68 solders, 46 fully equipped parachutists or even more then 11 a lot of equipment. Inside MEDEVAC setup, specialized in medical operations, it can carry 36 stretchers together with the relative medical staff. The variation in effect aided by the Italian Air Force includes two Head Up Show (HUD), digital instrument cockpit and advanced level avionics that allow the aircraft to operate in virtually any weather conditions and operative scenario.
