Italeri 3652 - 1/24 Renault R5 Alpine Rally  [IT-3652S]

The 1977 Rally period the French business Renault developed a race variation for the popular tiny R5. Despite the fact that this automobile was made for different scopes, after adequate planning, the French specialists managed to obtain notable power from engine: 150CV, and a noteworthy drive ration, which because of the contained fat of only 800 Kg. made the R5 a very manoeuvrable and fast automobile. The R5 obtained good results in the Sanremo and Montecarlo Rallies in 1978 and successively gratifying leads to the Acropolis Rally plus in Africa.
