About 10 years following the release of the F-12, and due to its success along with it, in 1988 Volvo established the new F-16 along with its state of-the-art features. Loaded with heavy-duty chassis, the truck features considerable hauling capability, low gas usage and high travel convenience along with a reliable and effective engine which managed to make it a leader in its category. The traits of its 6 cylinder turbo-compressed 16000cc Intercooler motor are an output of 465 HP at 1200 rpm. The F-16 is therefore well equipped to manage long distance heavy load trucking.
