The Sd.Kfz. 25 Ambulance produced by Italeri in 1/72 scale assembly kit, is classified in Scale Models - Military Series - Armored Cars

The Sd.Kfz.251 half-track was an armored combat car (AFV), which was implemented by the Wehrmacht on all functional fronts during the 2nd World War. Powered by a Maybach 6-cylinder petrol motor it was capable achieve a speed of 55 km / h also on ‘off road’ surface. Stated in huge figures, it was mainly used to transport ‘Panzergrenadiers’, but during the war several variations were developed to satisfy differing operational demands. The half-track Sd.Kfz. 251/8 ‘Krankenpanzerwagen’ had been outfitted and deployed as an armored ambulance running near the frontline. It was with the capacity of holding around eight seated casualties or four seated casualties and two stretcher cases, and also the necessary first aid alongside medical equipment.
