A 1/35 scale injection-moulded model of the Pak 97/38 towed anti-tank gun with crew figures, released within Italeri's military vehicle range for display-oriented modelling.
The Pak 97/38 was an interim German anti-tank solution of World War II that combined captured French 75 mm mle 1897 barrels with German pack carriage adaptations beginning in 1941. Intended to augment anti-tank units during equipment shortages, the conversion used a muzzle brake and modified mounting to improve performance with contemporary anti-armor ammunition. The gun saw service on multiple fronts where lighter, more mobile artillery was required.
As a plastic representation, this kit focuses on external detail and period-correct fittings. The moulded parts are arranged for conventional assembly, with separate components for the gun carriage, barrel, shield and crew poses. The included figures present common poses for crew tasks such as aiming and ammunition handling, allowing combined presentation of gun and personnel in a single display. Fit and surface detail target a realistic appearance at 1/35 scale; paint finishing and minor after-market enhancements can increase visual accuracy.
A historically referenced 1/35 representation of the Pak 97/38 intended for display-focused modelling and small dioramas; suitable for model players seeking a crewed towed gun subject.
