This aluminum rear shock tower is a direct-fit style replacement designed for use on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 scale touring car chassis. As a machined alloy component it provides a rigid mounting point for rear shocks and supports routine suspension tuning tasks without altering the chassis layout.
Installation uses the existing rear bulkhead and shock mounting points on TA01/TA02 layouts, so stock hardware and hole patterns are retained. Verify shock eyelet spacing and screw lengths during fitment, and reuse original screws when appropriate to preserve thread engagement.
In practice this tower serves as a tuning aid: its stiffer aluminum construction reduces flex at the top of the shock mount compared with stock plastic parts, making shock geometry changes repeatable during setup. The light blue finish is cosmetic and does not change mounting dimensions.
