This aluminum front shock tower is an RC-scale replacement part designed for Tamiya TA01 and TA02 chassis. Machined in a gun metal finish, it serves as a direct swap for the stock plastic tower and provides a more rigid mounting point for the front suspension assembly.
Installation follows the original mounting locations on the TA01/TA02 chassis, using the existing screw points and hardware from the car. When fitting the tower, check shock eyelet alignment and steering geometry, and confirm that no binding occurs through the suspension travel.
In setup terms, an aluminum tower is used to reduce flex at the top of the shock mounts, which can make front-end response more repeatable under load and faster to tune. Use it when you want a firmer front end baseline for spring, damper, or roll-center adjustments on track or during bench tuning sessions.
