DIG kit for KC10

The Kyosho CLW002 Dig Kit is an RC-scale transmission accessory designed to enable the DIG function on KC10 chassis models by using an available third channel from the transmitter. When engaged, the DIG function locks the rear drive while retaining drive to the front wheels, allowing a much tighter turning pivot than the chassis' standard minimum turning radius.

This kit converts the transmission's built-in DIG mechanism to be switched on and off remotely, so operation and tuning are handled from the transmitter rather than by manual switches at the car. Typical use is to assign the DIG activation to an auxiliary channel or a three-position switch so the driver can enable the lock only when needed, for example on hairpin turns or tight obstacles during track runs or technical course sections.

Installation overview: the kit interfaces with the transmission's DIG actuator and the radio system; it requires an unused transmitter channel and basic wiring to the vehicle's receiver or an onboard switch harness. Because compatibility and wiring implementations vary by setup, follow the chassis' service manual and confirm whether the KC10 transmission in your model already includes a DIG mechanism before installation.

In practice the CLW002 Dig Kit is used to add on-demand rear-drive locking to KC10 builds, letting drivers tighten line choice and reduce corrective steering through tight corners.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
DIG temporarily locks the rear drive while the front wheels remain powered, allowing a much tighter turning pivot for sharp corners.
The kit uses a spare transmitter channel assigned to a switch or lever; toggling that channel turns the DIG function on or off.
Basic wiring to the receiver or harness is required and an open auxiliary channel on the transmitter, but no additional drive components are introduced by the kit itself.
DIG is most useful on very tight corners, hairpins, and technical track sections where reducing the turning radius helps maintain line and speed.
