KC10 Chassis Counterweight

The Kyosho CLW004 counterweight is an RC-scale accessory supplied as a set of 2 pcs made to work with the KC10 chassis. Its role is purely for chassis balance tuning on 1/10 electric touring models, allowing subtle shifts in axle load that affect turn-in, mid-corner balance and traction without modifying suspension geometry.

Fitment is limited to KC10-designated mounting or ballast locations, using the chassis' existing attachment points. Installation is straightforward: position the counterweight where the KC10 layout allows and secure it with the original mounting hardware to maintain factory alignment. No changes to the motor, ESC or gearbox are required when using this part.

In setup work the CLW004 serves as a tuning tool rather than a performance part on its own. Use it to adjust front-to-rear bias for different track surfaces or driving styles, add or remove the two pcs as needed to test balance changes, and verify handling responses before altering suspension or tyre choices.
