This side guard is an RC-scale replacement part designed specifically for the Kyosho MP10 chassis. The updated profile reduces both thickness and overall height to save 18g compared with the original unit while narrowing from the chassis center toward the rear to clear the body and trim excess material.

Functionally the guard maintains the chassis edge line while reducing mass and potential body interference. For tuning it offers a modest reduction in weight on the chassis flank and helps preserve consistent clearance between the body and suspension travel, which can assist in fine-tuning balance and handling on paved surfaces.

Installation is intended to reuse the MP10 side guard mounting points and hardware; align the guard with the chassis flange, secure fasteners evenly, and avoid over-torquing to prevent distortion. Inspect body fit after installation and make minor alignment adjustments if the shell contacts the new profile.
