Alloy servo mount cover for Mini Inferno

This is an aftermarket alloy servo mount cover designed for the Kyosho Mini Inferno platform, supplied by GPM as model MIF026. The part is an RC-scale replacement cover intended to secure a standard-size servo in the Mini Inferno chassis while reducing flex where the original plastic cover may deform.

The cover is machined from alloy to improve stiffness and long-term dimensional stability compared with stock plastic parts. It is supplied as a 1pc set with the screws needed for mounting, and it locates where the factory servo mount cover sits, using the same screw positions to fasten the servo in place.

Installation is straightforward for hobby workshops: remove the original cover, position the servo and horn alignment, fit the alloy cover and fasten the supplied screws. Check horn clearance and link geometry after installation so servo travel and steering throw remain correct.

From a tuning perspective, switching to a stiffer alloy cover reduces movement at the mounting point, which helps maintain consistent steering feedback and can aid precision for on-track adjustments; however, it does not change servo electrical or gear characteristics and should be considered part of a chassis durability and feel upgrade.
