This alloy servo mount is an aftermarket RC-scale upgrade made for Kyosho Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno chassis, designed to accept standard Hitec and JR servos. It replaces the stock plastic mount to provide a more rigid foundation for the servo, and the set includes mounting screws and shims to help achieve correct alignment inside the radio bay.
Installation is straightforward: remove the original mount, position the alloy mount in the radio bay, fit the servo and use the supplied shims to achieve proper spline engagement and horn clearance, then secure with the included screws. The shims allow small vertical adjustments to reduce gear mesh or linkage bind without needing additional parts.
From a tuning perspective the mount's stiffer material helps maintain consistent servo geometry under load, which can improve steering feedback and reduce play that might affect handling on a Mini Inferno setup. It is intended solely for RC models and their radio bay mounting systems.
