This is an RC-scale motor mount assembly intended for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-02 (MM) chassis, supplied by 3Racing under part code KZ-01/BU/WO. The unit pairs an aluminum motor mount with an attached graphite plate to increase local stiffness and stabilise motor positioning without altering the stock gearbox location.

For hobby use the mount’s role is straightforward: provide a rigid attachment point for the motor, improve repeatability when setting pinion and spur alignment, and give a firmer platform for small tuning changes on track or in practice. The graphite plate is included to reduce flex at the mounting interface, which helps keep alignment consistent under loads typical in 1:27–1:28 scale Mini-Z running.

Installation notes: the part is designed to work with the MR-02 (MM) layout and uses the chassis’ existing motor mount area and mounting points. Expect a drop-in replacement behaviour where screws and mounting holes align to the original positions, and verify motor mesh and clearance after fitting before running the model.
