This carbon front plate set is an RC-scale upgrade designed for the Kyosho Optima 2016 chassis. It replaces the stock front plate with a stiffer carbon component to influence front-end rigidity and tuning behavior without altering the vehicle scale or drive system.

Compatibility is limited to the Optima 2016 chassis family, fitment relies on existing front mounting locations on that chassis. Installation requires basic modelling tools and familiarity with removing the original front plate and refitting the replacement using the chassis’ mounting points.

In tuning use, the carbon front plate serves to increase structural stiffness at the front bulkhead which can sharpen steering response and stabilise suspension geometry under load. Expect changes in steering feel and weight transfer behaviour typical of a front chassis reinforcement, and adjust suspension and toe settings accordingly when testing on track.
