The Kyosho SCW041 Handling Adjust King Pin Set is an RC-scale spare part designed for the Tomahawk 85WC and offered as an option for Scorpion-series chassis. It changes the kingpin outer diameter slightly below the standard 4mm to introduce a controlled amount of steering play, letting you tune handling balance on low-traction surfaces without major chassis alterations.
This kit includes two thinner kingpin sizes taken directly from the source configuration, 3.9mm and 3.8mm, allowing stepwise adjustment. Swapping to a smaller outer diameter increases lateral clearance at the steering pivot, which can reduce twitchiness and improve straight-line stability on slippery surfaces while keeping overall steering response usable for cornering setup adjustments.
Installation notes: the part is intended as a direct replacement for the standard kingpin on compatible Tomahawk 85WC assemblies and may be fitted to Scorpion-series assemblies where the same pivot interfaces are present. Expect only small changes in steering geometry; no chassis drilling or fabrication should be required when the part fits correctly. As with any tuning change, evaluate handling progressively and test under controlled conditions.
