Hex adapter for LOSI LMT

This aluminium hex adapter is an RC-scale replacement part produced by GPM for the LOSI LMT 4WD solid axle monster truck platform. It serves as a direct mechanical interface between wheel hexes and axle pins, offering a compact 12x8mm profile in 6061-T6 aluminium.

The design includes a double-hole layout with an added 2.5mm hole to accept a locking pin or a correct-size kimi screw, allowing secure fixing of the adapter to the axle or driveshaft. The supplied steel pins increase retention strength where shear resistance is needed during aggressive driving or competition runs.

Installation is straightforward: slide the adapter onto the matching 12x8mm hex shaft, align the 2.5mm locking hole, and install the supplied pin or screw. Check for proper seating and minimal endplay before final use, and use thread-lock where threaded fasteners engage aluminium to steel connections.
