The kit focuses on reducing internal friction and managing pressure transmitted through the front suspension by using aluminum shock cylinders and thicker shock shafts.

Functionally the parts act as adjustable spring dampers: the top spring retainer lets you change spring pre-load and perceived damping stiffness without altering oil or internal components. The shock shafts are increased to 2.5mm diameter to improve resistance to bending under load while the sealed spring retainer helps limit oil leakage.
