It serves the primary drivetrain function of transferring rotation from the transmission to the rear wheels and tyres, matching the original part location at the rear dog bone area.

The components are manufactured from hardened steel #45 to provide improved wear resistance compared with standard stamped or softer alloy parts, aiming to maintain smooth wheel rotation under normal running and light competition use. The shaft diameter has been increased from 2.1mm to 2.9mm which improves stiffness and reduces the chance of bending or premature wear in the dog bone joint.
