The Mr.Hobby GSI-HSF04 Aqueous Surfacer 500 is a water-based surfacer formulated for scale RC model finishing work. Its role is to provide a uniform base layer that evens out minor surface imperfections and creates a consistent surface for subsequent paint layers. It is presented in a compact 40ml container suited to hobby bench use.

Use this surfacer as a preparatory step when assembling and finishing plastic or resin model parts to improve visual uniformity and help subsequent paints lay down more consistently. Work in a well-ventilated area and follow standard model-paint safety practices.

Application notes: assess compatibility with the model material on an inconspicuous area first. Apply thin, even coats to build a smooth base rather than heavy single layers. After the surfacer has cured to a non-tacky state, proceed with sanding or direct overcoating depending on the finish required.
