It serves as the locating shaft for the upper arm pivot and is intended for routine replacement or setup changes when adjusting front-end geometry.

Material choice and role: spring steel provides predictable flex and wear resistance compared with softer materials, helping keep consistent arm alignment and steering feedback during tuning. The shaft is intended for RC-scale suspension use only.
