The standard Aluminum hardcoated chassis is 2mm, so that the  2.5mm will flex less which will make the SDX4 less aggressive and more straightforward to drive particularly on greater traction songs. The considerable maching could keep the extra weight down seriously to similar values since the 2mm one !
