Competing inside 1981 Endurance World Championship the Kawasaki KR1000F showcased a powerful air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC 998cc engine. Not just created for power, the KR1000F also showcased an original non-symmetrical design for simple engine installation and upkeep. Rear suspension system consisted of one coil damper device installed only on right side, with GP race developed anti-nose plunge fork legs within the front side. Colored in Kawasaki's distinctive limegreen, the KR1000F broke Honda's long domination of the international stamina race scene taking out fully the 1981 makers name and riders championship.
